Well my beloved People kassidy has been home with us now 3 weeks, what a whirlwind this girl is!! Holy Moses, yesterday she gave her home coming talk and I felt exhausted at the end!! She related so many experiences and life lessons, people she met, falling in love with Cincinnati Ohio mission and it's beauty, members, companions, and definitely acquired the "Hoosiers" sickness in which a person can talk a mile a minute without a breathe!!! her talk was 40 minutes long! the days of "relaxing" for Stacy and I are over!! We used to come home and cuddle up on the couch and binge watch enjoying peace and quiet etc. now, well we hear, "let's go on a hike" or "let's go to the gym" or let's go on a bike ride" or let's stand on the roof of our house and sing Christmas music at the top of our lungs while dad hangs the lights, she even bought a guitar this week and decided she thinks she can play...way too much of that going on,...

GOODMORNING brothers and sisters! I’m not sure about you guys but that was HANDS DOWN the fastest, longest, slowest, craziest, WEIRDEST, most amazing 9 months of my ENTIRE life. When they say it feels like it all feels like a dream and you wonder if it really happened… oh my goodness it’s SO true. An experience that can and WILL literally change the course of your future and one that you really could never ever EVER forget. One that ohhhh my goodness REALLY puts it into perspective JUSTTTT HOW prideful we reallyyyy ALL are ;) THIS experience, was my mission. Serving as a full time disciple of Jesus Christ…. EVEN just for 9 months, my mission means more to me than words could ever even BEGIN to try and describe. Basically i could talk about my mission ALL. DAY. SO, HOW AWESOME is it that bishop asked me to talk about my mission! Haha don’tttt worry, i’ll try to keep it short for you! On a mission, you ...

This girl is on fire. She absolutely loves serving our Savior and teaching His gospel. She has exerted her light, spirit, energy giving all she had into serving but her little body just couldn’t keep up. This decision was not made lightly and included many doctors, tears, tests and prayers. She fought with all she had to stay but mission medical was firm. A resting heart rate of 39 doesn’t sit well with them. It is dangerously low. In order for her to live a healthy adult life she needed to return home where she can focus on her health rather than running herself into the ground giving to everyone around her. Many tears have been shed but she knows with her whole heart she left it all out in the field. She gave everything she had. We could not be prouder and are so excited to welcome her home!!! Welcome Home Sister P! (One of the hardest, most heartbreaking, (yet a pure honor) things that I have ever been asked to do as a mom is to remove my sons and daughters mission tags. It tr...
