A CRAZY week!! holy cow. BUT we made it!! Hello hello! This place was CRAZY!! It's so true that literally anywhere out of utah is foreign haha. I definitely feel like i'm in this crazy wild foreign country... with a walmart! It's awesome! I'm serving in a little town called vandalia right next to dayton! But it's this tiny "abandoned" beautiful place that had a HUGE tornado last year. How crazy and awesome is that!! Ok real stuff. I LOVE this place. My companion is so bomb. We both have all brothers and have basically the same personality. Her bros were nicer to her tho (; We're serving in a family ward called englewood but they call it englehood baha. But this ward.. holy..!! The boundaries are crazy. It's literally a 40 minute drive from one end to the other but it's the tiniest ward!  Dear Brother and Sister Peterson    I just have to tell you that we love your daughter already!   She is a gem and so well prepared to be a missionary!! We picked the Sisters up last evening and brought them home to the mission home for a delicious dinner prepared by Sister Wimmer who is a Service Missionary.   Usually we have a training after dinner, but since the Sisters were a day behind, (due to the bus accident), last night was the testimony meeting for the departing missionaries. The training was held this morning after breakfast. The pictures below were taken in front of the mission home.      Sister Peterson was assigned to a Sister who is beautiful in both mind and heart, Sister Doane. 3 am... I wake up to make it on the bus in time to get to the airport monday morning. Packing alllll the luggage on the bus because elders are lazy haha just kidding but not really cuz they all were "too tired." Gotta love them. Anyways we were FINALLY ON OUR WAY. it was happening!!! A little Nissan truck slipping from side to side on black ice on the free way we all anxiously wait to see what's going to happen and this poor truck Rams into the side of our bus. We INSANTLY say a prayer for the driver of the truck because it was the drivers side that went in our tire and popped it. We now have no way to get to the airport and we miss our flights. Wondering what in the world the reason is behind god delaying our missions for who knows how long. Stranded on the side of the freeway for 3 hours then in a random Lehi McDonald's for another 3 hours looking at my house 15 minutes away and my work that was NEXT DOOR. Wondering if maybe I'm just supposed to go home at this...

This cute missionary is back to the MTC this morning after their bus which was taking them to the airport was hit by a truck. Thankfully they are all ok! They will stay at the MTC for a few days until their flights can be re-routed. On the plus side she may be there to see Elder Holland after all. 👍🏻

I of COURSE get called up to give a talk in Sacrament that you know I didn't prepare but don't even worry I had 3 minutes to prepare a whole talk. Scrambling through every page in the book of mormon and preach my gospel. Do you know how entertaining it would've been if they weren't actually talking about a different sister Peterson?? Haha the big man upstairs is so good. Got outta that one but I'm gonna get called up this sunday i kn ow it. Haha hey guys it's me again, that was the fastest craziest best week of my life.
