Put Her to the Challenge

Were gonna throw it back to a good 5 months ago.... when i got emergency transferred last second from ohio to kentucky!! having ONE night to pack and head out! crazy. to then serve in kentucky for a WHILE anddd ending the adventurous kentucky time... in the dead MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, getting emergency transferred AGAIN back up to OHIO!! ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ team no sleep ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿ’ค๐Ÿ’ซ Last week, i mentioned in my email just how hard change is. I think i was really just preparing myself for the craziest, most last second, literal middle of the night... CHANGE. haha HOW COOL IS IT that He knows exactly WHAT he's doing. He knows exactly WHEN he's going to do it and he knows the EXACT OUTCOME, and the thing he wants US to LEARN from it. BUT that WE have NO clue. The whole time! ๐Ÿ•™ ๐ŸŒ…He knows all the behind the scenes that we never will. He's SO WILLING and MERCIFUL to GIVE us that trial, that uncomfortablness, that learning curve, that CHALLENGE AND CHANGE! or surprise... we'll never grow/learn without them! he's literally SO GOOD!! There's a thing missionaries have called a "bye bye book" where the missionaries serving around you, USUALLY sign it whenever you get transfered! wellllll both transfers on my mission so far have been a "less than 24 hour pack-n-go" emergency transfer haha i guesssss for SOME REASON the big guy just needed me TOO quick somewhere else ๐Ÿ˜‰

HELLO HELLO! this week... holy cow... summed up, it consisted of packing, moving, cleaning, cleaning, packing, driving, multiple 2 am last minute sleepovers on the floor, waiting in hour long taco bell drive thrus๐ŸŒฎ, getting some BOMB pizza with almonds on it... ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿ• We gave trainings in big mission meetings, went on multiple long road trips, uhmmm... moved.., now being the only sisters!!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅณ my new district leader, (elder morgan) just happened to sit next to me in history class in highschool haha ๐Ÿ’ฅ CRAZYYYY!! our neighbors are more missionaries!!(pm parties) haha kidding kidding. we got in contact with elders from 2 DIFFERENT MISSIONS this week to take books of mormon to people we found through facebook!.... all in all, we celebrated the end of this never ending, amazing, learning, TRYING and TRUSTING, week with... some DONUTS, ๐Ÿฉ laying on the ground dead anddd PUTTING CINDY AND SAM ON DATE FOR BAPTISM!!!! ๐ŸŒŠwe sadly had to pass them off to the elders who were VERY excited haha it's seriously like christmas day when you find someone new to teach! ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ at the end of the day, we just laughed (a lot because we had to redue the WHOLE apartment which means two TINY girls TRYING to move some BIG stuff hahah), we really just fasted and prayed like we've never prayed and fasted before through this week (; AKA THE BEST WEEK EVER!!!
soooo what did i learn from this week? OBVIOUSLY there was SOMETHING (a lot) to be learned.... likeeee
"SEEING GREEN"
i listened to the COOLEST talk this week... (get the gospel media app and watch allll of the hope works videos.. SO SO GOOD I PROMISE) the talk explains prettyyyy dang awesome how life for (i think) a lot of us are experiencing it lately.
BLUE ๐Ÿ’™- blueeee is your comfort zone. You're SO happy, you feel successful, everything seems to be going good, you finally feel like you did it, you made it. You never want to leave! but, aside from being what you FEEL is your best, there HAS to be more. There always is!
Sooo YELLOW hits.
YELLOW ๐Ÿ’›- Yellow is the SUDDEN NEW. the sudden change! new everything. New experiences, new twists and turns, a NEW beginning.
What now? You're not necessarily content with the thought of this being "it" either.
You kindaaaa want to go back to blue. You want to go back to how things were. The feeling of being content. The feeling like you somewhat have control.
That brings us to GREEN.
GREEN ๐Ÿ’š- Green is the "more" ... the point where you don't necessarily abandon the past(the blue)๐Ÿ’™ or, the comfortable, but you also don't want to go COMPLETELY back to it because you've now seen the yellow.๐Ÿ’› You've seen both sides. You don't want to completely let the yellow go either. Or be fully IN the yellow.๐Ÿ’› It's TOO new, it's TOO changed. You don't want to just FORGET the blue.๐Ÿ’™ So, Green๐Ÿ’š is the in between. The merciful gift that we GET TO SEE both sides. We now, get to start over. taking the opportunity. The lessons learned and run with them.
Sayyy our life is like a puzzle ๐Ÿงฉ๐Ÿงฉ๐Ÿงฉ We've been given one piece at a time to potentially make it a LITTLE easier to place the next piece. Finding out along the way that some pieces make it a tiny easier and some are a fail and don't help at all but we still had to TRY that piece to know it was wrong in the first place. ๐Ÿ‘ŽIn the ending of the puzzle-the ending picture, we don't need to fill the missing puzzles pieces there might be because HE(OUR SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST) FILLED THE MISSING PIECES. The pieces we could NEVER and NEVER WILL be able to fill ALONE. The ending goal being to have no. Missing. Pieces.
At the end of the day, are we really all complacent in doing ALL WE CAN? being prepared to look for the bigger picture- "enlarge our vision"? Could YOUR faith be relied on by someone else to finish the puzzle? To help them/yourself find the green๐Ÿ’š? Like nephi when he built the ship but they bound him up and in turn, lost control of the ship- without his faith?⛺๐ŸŒ…๐Ÿ”๐Ÿงญ⛵ BOOM SO SO SO good. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿž๐ŸŒ I LOVE YOU ALL! and hope you have the most amazing week!
love,
